About Attorney Matt Fogal
From 2002 through 2023, Attorney Fogal served the people of Franklin County as a prosecutor, and within the last 14 years, he served as the elected District Attorney and “Chief Law Enforcement Officer.” As District Attorney, he was literally responsible for tens of thousands of criminal cases, and successfully litigated countless major trials. His record of success in the courtroom and as a leader in the statewide and national criminal justice community is a result of both talent and hard work.
After leaving the Franklin County District Attorney’s Office in 2023, Attorney Fogal worked within the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of General Counsel and was assigned to the Department of State’s Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs. Attorney Fogal quickly gained invaluable knowledge and experience in professional licensing for nurses and other licensed professions within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Attorney Fogal’s 25-year legal career also includes simultaneous roles as a teacher, community leader, coach, volunteer, and veteran.
